Kaiyodo sculptor BOME received the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award for the 2022 fiscal year. This is the first time this award has been given to someone in the figure industry.
To commemorate this, the exhibition "Oh my BOME!" was held at Nakano Broadway.
This product is a soft vinyl kit molded in a special limited-edition pink color for the exhibition venue.

【DAICON IV Girl】
This refers to the opening animation produced by "DAICON FILM," a production group formed by the staff who would later establish GAINAX, for the 20th Japan SF Convention, known as "DAICON III" held in Osaka in 1981, and "DAICON IV" held in 1983. The beautiful girl who wore a school backpack in "III" grew up and danced gracefully in the air in a bunny girl outfit in "IV".
BOME created this figure after being captivated by the animation, which had a quality that was hard to believe was produced by an amateur group (though professional animators of the time also participated in "IV").
The photos show a new paint sample created by BOME himself for this sales project. This reissue is a soft vinyl kit molded in a special limited-edition pink color.
With its supple proportions, soft flesh expression, and reproduction of the 80s anime style, this figure is packed with the charm of BOME's sculpting, even as a past work.
