NATURE TALES Great White Shark [Limited Edition]

Among the many motifs Kaiyodo has brought to life, the creatures of the Earth represent one of our largest categories. As a continuation of "Nature Tales," a large-scale statue series that tackles this theme as serious art, we are proud to introduce two powerful predators: the Black Marlin and the Great White Shark!
The sculpting is handled by Shinobu Matsumura, a world-renowned leader in biological modeling, and Taro Murai, an all-around sculptor who created the "SHIMANO x Kaiyodo STRIKE FANTASY" series, which combines his expertise in diorama production with his passion for fishing. Through their deep knowledge and observation of these creatures, they have captured their vibrant, natural forms in statue format.
Known as the most ferocious predator among sharks, the Great White Shark is brought to life in Nature Tales at the moment it launches its massive 5-6 meter body into the air to hunt a fur seal.
In its wide-open mouth, you can see not only its terrifyingly sharp teeth but also the unique structure of the protruding jaw.
In addition to the beautiful, predatory form—from its sharp fins to the muscular bulk of its torso—the sheen of its denticle-covered skin is expressed through meticulous painting.
Even the desperate expression of the fur seal, twisting its body to escape, has been sculpted in detail, bringing this moment of high tension to life in a size that fills your field of vision!
