The steel armored hunter, brought to life as a Takeya-style Jizai Okimono! The progenitor of the black hounds that appeared in a fictional history. The Protect Gear from the "Kerberos Saga," conceived by director Mamoru Oshii, joins the "Takeya-style Jizai Okimono" series, with sculpting supervision by the world-renowned Takayuki Takeya! This model is based on the armor from the radio drama "Kerberos: Panzer Jäger," which was modeled by Takeya himself. The 101st Armored Panzer Division was organized as a ceremonial unit directly under the German dictator during World War II, and after the dictator's assassination, they were sent to the fierce Eastern Front as a detestable symbol of his tyranny. This "Type 34 Special Reinforced Armor" is the specialized equipment of its members and is positioned as the origin of the various protect armors that appear later in the "Kerberos Saga." The protect armor, reminiscent of Western plate armor, features delicate details including ribbed armor plating and the chainmail worn underneath, all while being fully articulated. To ensure poses like crouching to aim a gun look natural, sliding armor gimmicks are incorporated to prevent gaps when swinging the shoulders forward or bending the torso deeply. The elongated mask, reminiscent of a dog's snout, features the iconic red eyes of the Protect Armor, recreated with clear parts.
Weapons include the "MG34" heavy machine gun and the "Mauser C96" pistol.
The MG34 features a unique style with a foregrip attached to the gun mount under the barrel, and the bipod at the tip can be displayed in a deployed state using interchangeable parts.
The backpack, which stores the hard case and the MG34's drum magazine, is also intricately detailed!
The black armor is finished with a deep, semi-gloss paint that captures the rough texture of steel.
