Today, we face pressures never felt before due to the pandemic and rapid changes in the era. The feeling that without money, one cannot buy a home or realize dreams, and the sense that life feels empty even after many years... We experience frustration and regret time and again.
Through many twists and turns, wounds form scabs, and the lingering pain helps us move one step closer to our true selves.
In the Zu&Pi Figure Collection Vol.4, Steven expresses these aspects of human life and the heart through his world, using "music" as an image concept, rendered with fantastical sculpting and painting.

About Steven Choi: The first Chinese artist to win the UK WIA (World Illustration Awards) and JIA (Japan Illustrators Association) awards.
Born in Hong Kong, he is an illustrator and graphic designer. He loved drawing from a young age and taught himself design.
He first presented Zu&Pi at the 2012 Frankfurt Book Fair, captivating people with his Nordic-style art and worldview.
His works are diverse and have been exhibited at the Tate Modern (UK), the Louvre Museum (France), the Centre Pompidou (France), and more.
