A masterpiece by Shinobu Matsumura reborn as a plastic model kit. Originally released as a garage kit during the broadcast of the TV anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion," the Evangelion Unit-01 sculpted by Shinobu Matsumura has finally been turned into a plastic model. This masterpiece is packed with various elements, respecting the original design while incorporating bold biological interpretations, such as the expression of muscles and the base featuring an Angel, all achieved without sacrificing detail. For this kit version, the original sculpt was converted into 3D data, resized to a total height of approximately 230mm, and refined by Shinobu Matsumura himself. New parts include the exposed chest muscles where the armor has peeled away and a hand holding a Progressive Knife.
