The guardian deity of the southern Buddhist world is now an injection kit!
Among the Four Heavenly Kings, Virudhaka is positioned to the south (front left when facing the main deity). This figure is sculpted at a total height of approximately 160mm, offering both a satisfying presence and precise detail when held in your hands.
As the name suggests, Virudhaka is believed to possess the power to "increase and expand," and is revered as a deity of abundant harvests.
This item captures the unique atmosphere and intensity of the original statue, featuring his distinct pose holding a treasure sword with the blade pointed downward, and a fierce, glaring expression that reflects his reputation as the most martial of the Four Heavenly Kings.
In addition to the rugged base, the intricate details of the armor surface, expressed through subtle irregularities, and the delicate textures of cloth, leather, and skin are all captured. The finish allows you to appreciate the unique texture that has weathered the passage of time—a quality only found in Buddhist statues.
